Our services are applicable to companies operating in any field of international business. However, due to the historical and economic characteristics of our geographical target area and most of all for the present state of this booming market, we would like to highlight the special importance of the following industries: ENERGY AND MINING The target area is rich with several natural resources, mainly oil and natural gas - of which Algeria is one of the top three producers in the world. As such, the petro-chemical industry is presently the backbone of the country’s economy. Local companies are eager to find new business partners and utilize different types of new technologies and expertise in order to modernize their existing production plant facilities. This also offers opportunities for various engineering and consulting services. The mining industry is only starting to develop in the area but its importance is ever-increasing as a result of the global need for raw materials for the steel industry and new sources of energy. For example Uranium and phosphates can be found in the soil. THE ENVIRONMENT The Maghreb countries have had severe environmental problems but these issues have only recently become a major topic in the media. They also have the willingness to take part in the ongoing global efforts to save the environment but they currently lack the knowledge and technology to effectively participate in these efforts. Again, this is the prime time to present your know-how and technology to the public- and private-sector key operators and make profitable business deals. INDUSTRY AND INFRASTRUCTURE To give an example of the potential in these expanding markets, the Algerian government has recently budgeted some 50 billion Euros for renewal and development programs and projects regarding the country’s infrastructure. These monies are provided until 2015. This means contracting and subcontracting possibilities for companies in practically all sectors and lines of industry. Mainly in the construction, machinery and process industries, closely followed by the telecom and ITC fields. |
